BELLE OF THE OZARKS

12-mile cruise on Beaver Lake. Informative narration of lake history and attractions, including Beaver Dam, a Bald Eagle’s nest and over a dozen points of interest. Cruise around a 200 acre island wildlife game preserve and see the Ozark Bluff Dwellers burial grounds and their submerged caverns. We stop at a submerged homestead and watch kids jumping from the cliffs. Eagle Watch the entire month of October and a special event, Eagle Watch weekend October 16th, 17th, 18th ,three cruises a day. Daily departures May thru October at 11am and 1pm. Thorncrown Chapel

Designed by famed Architect, E. Fay Jones, Thorncrown Chapel is a forty eight foot tall wood structure with four hundred twenty five windows rising from the woodlands of the Ozark Mountains in serene glory. Since opening in 1980, over five million people have visited this woodland sanctuary. Thorncrown Chapel has won numerous architectural awards and was recently placed on the American Institute of Architects list of the top buildings of the twentieth century.  


Spirits of the Basin
